Whether you want walking trails or hiking trails, you can easily drive in, step out of your car and be on the path in no time. For those that prefer to stay in your car, a simple drive through the park is still enjoyable. If you go out at night, there's a great parking spot that overlooks the Boston skyline.

Great place to spend the day outside walking or enjoying the view. Good for the dogs and the kids. Get back to nature in the Blue Hills.

Just choose a trail and enjoy the view. There is a pond- beautiful trip around. One of the routes on the hill will fill you with a fresh air and inspire your vision of the nature. Enjoy the quite walk in the woods.

Beautiful place to hike. The view from the tower is amazing. You can see the entire Boston skyline as well as Boston harbor and the islands. There is plenty of parking and the trails are beautiful

Lots of hiking trails and there is a little tower on top of the hill. You could also go to Houghton's Pond for a swim after hiking.

If you are in Boston for a few days, and you want to experience the beauty of a New England Fall without leaving town, then make your way over to the Blue Hills! There is a wonderful interpretive museum run by the Audubon Society, a small "zoo" of local animals for the kids to see, and lots of hiking opportunities... More

We brought my 5 year old daughter here. She loves to hike but isn't quite ready for the big hikes in the White Mountains, she as well as the rest of us in the group had a great time. It was a nice easy hike and a great way to spend an afternoon with family and friends!!! Can't wait to... More

We had a great family hike here at Blue Hills. It was challenging, yet full of fun. There are many stops along the way for a rest and a photo. Don't forget to do the tour at the top!! SO great with an amazing view of the surrounding area

Blue Hills Reservation has varying levels of hiking challenges. You can rock scramble or wander. There are good vistas, shady woods, ponds, places for biking and baby backpacking. Enjoy being outdoors. The trails are well marked with paths that travel deeper into the reservation or back to the parking lot. Maps are posted for quick reference where trails converge. In... More
