Cute old fashioned store, hasn't changed too much since I went there as a kid. You can get old fashioned "penny candy". I usually give my kids a $2-3 limit and they can pick out what they want. The rest of the store has cute gifts and trinkets, fun to poke around. There is one woman there who is extremely... More

You will love this place and you never know what you might find. It has some of the real flavor of the early years fun old toys as well as wayside Inn souvenirs.

Pickle barrels... not one but two. If you want a dill or sour pickle, you're arrived in heaven. Lots of history here but all sorts of traditional country store type things. I always buy a bag of ginger snaps - and they have flour ground at the nearby Wayside Grist Mill, too. Attached is the candy store that has every... More

I love coming to the country store but hate it at the same time. I aim to go in for ten minutes to look for one thing, and end up spending an entire afternoon there buying tons of stuff! I love that they have gifts that focus around Boston and the little towns of MA. I always find something special... More

If it's old-time goodies you're seeking, the Country Store probably has it. Nice little spot to browse; and you'll almost certainly leave with at least one purchase . . .

Special place any time of year, but I especially remember childhood visits in the Fall. Fun to browse. Take home some fudge.

Was so snowy and we stopped because of the amazing views. The place looked like a post card. We stayed a few minutes to take some pictures.

Love visiting the Wayside Country Store. It's a great place to poke around, you never know what you will find. We always bring our out of state family and friends here to buy their souvenirs.

We typically stop by here any time we go to the restaurant next door (Stephen Anthony's). This is a great place to kill some time. The country store has all the sort of things you'd expect (if you've ever been to a Cracker Barrel, it's similar to that). Attached to the country store is a great candy shop. It's a... More
