Interesting piece of history

Whilst not that large it's history and position over the entrance to Marblehead give it historical importance and a feel for the role it played - full of Atmosphere - worth a visit

Very interesting but don't forget who built it! Well looked after and well worth walking around, as is the whole of Marblehead.

An important pre- & post-revolutionary site located in a corner of "Old Town" with its quaint homes & sounds & smells of the Atlantic. High on a bluff oveooking the harbor & local islands, this is lovely spot for families & dogs to recreate, artists to paint & couples to romance. Good in all seasons!

Another gorgeous park in town on the water is Crocker Park. This and Fort Sewall are beautiful any time of the year. There's a great dock for jumping off of in the summer. Fun for all ages; spectacular views!

The fort itself is small but interesting. The views from the top are lovely. It is worth a quick stop. As with everything in Marblehead, the parking is extremely limited.
