Started going to Drumlin for local birding programs run by amazing volunteers. More recently we are eating the food they produce and the fresh free range eggs. We have been eating so well. Can also go for a walk and bird the wilder areas. The new fox enclosure was nice to see. We went yesterday to see the sheep being... More

Recently, I visited Drumlin Farm with some friends and their 2-year-old daughter for Whoolapalooza. We met some other friends and their children, as well, and everyone had a great time, despite the cold, damp weather, mud, and sprinkles of rain. On a dry, sunny day, it would be even more fun, but we all still had a blast. The kids... More

Ideal for young children, the animals are always fun to see. Staff are friendly and helpful. Lots of walking so a stroller is recommended for little ones. There are designated picnic/snack areas so bring food but please don't feed the animals. There are bathrooms, a nice gift shop, a farm stand and at some times of year a hay ride... More

Drumlin farm is a place with "access to the nature". We enjoy the hikes through the fields and meadows and access to the local farms in the back of the Drumlin Farm. We like to watch the animals, but what is most appealing is the room to roam for the kids. Clean restrooms on site and a cute farm stand.... More

I visited with my daughter and grandchildren. The 2.5 year old really enjoyed it. She took me through the chicken house, and the egg sorting. We looked at sheep, goats, a nice barn with a sad pony, and deer. We took a long hike but as we walked farther in the back the trails were filled with water and we... More

enjoyed going to Drumlin farm. This farm is perfect for young children. They have many farm type animals for kids to see. There is also an area to view birds and even owls. There is a barn with bay sheep and a baby goat. We went to the area for deer and did not see any. I thought there was... More

Good place to visit with young children. There are animals here that will keep the children's attention.

Beautiful working farm and animal sanctuary. There were a lot of kids around but we still had a great time. Took leisurely strolls all around the farm, enjoyed the animals and gardens. We spent about 2.5 hours there and thoroughly enjoyed it. I was so glad we did thin instead of the typical tourist stuff.

This was a great stop over for our kids while visiting Boston. Trails were easy to use and it was small enough for my two kids (3.5 and 6 years old) to walk without too much complaining. Live animals were a real hit, but the thing they enjoyed most was the scavenger hunt and the resulting prize they got to... More
