Well, our experience here was not quite a memorable one for the tour, it really was for the cost. We stopped in here after our recent plans to go to The Mount were dashed, due to them not being open for another week, so we...More

Thank you for taking the time to review Ventfort Hall. I am sorry you were disappointed in what you experienced for your money. Our admission cost is in keeping with other venues in the area, some with extensive grounds and some without, and is necessary...More

The mansion is an interesting place to visit. One of the few attractions open year round. The tour guide was very knowledgeable. Parts of the restoration have not yet been completed and it is an interesting juxtaposition of finished and non-finished parts of the restoration

If you thought you had to go to Newport to tour the mansions-think again. The rich and famous also liked to visit the Berkshires.

Renovation on the interior is still undergoing renovation, but nevertheless it is a beautiful building set on lovely grounds. Many of their windows are of stained glass giving a somewhat gloomy mood to the interior.

We had high hopes of the museum but it was so disappointing. It is clear that it is run on a shoestring and the owners are trying to bring in events such as weddings to try to raise funds. It's ok that none of the...More

Very interesting tour of a gorgeous gilded age "cottage". The restoration is a work in progress by a group of very dedicated people who thankfully saved this beautiful landmark from demolition.
