The roads leading to the summit winding and provide gorgeous views. We took a tour around the summit, to see where our son proposed. We ate dinner at the lodge at the top, which provided a fantastic sunset and delicious dinner. This is a definite must see during your visit!

We attempted to visit Mount Greylock mid-January. The roads in the area were clear but the roads in Mount Greylock were closed and snow-covered. We also discovered that the visitor center is only open on weekends in the Winter. None of this stopped us from having a great time exploring snow-covered trails and geocaching. We will definitely return again in... More

You really feel like you're in Heaven. Presently the monument is under repair. About time, in memory of our Veterans! I'll review, again, when it's complete.

Dawn and I recently dined at Bascom Lodge. We have dined at Bascom Lodge regularly over the past five seasons and truly enjoyed each and every time. Prior to dinner, we enjoyed a cocktail and watched the sunset over the Berkshire Hills. After a beautiful sight, we enjoyed a wonderful meal and great company at our table. Dawn and I... More

We really enjoyed visiting Mount Greylock. The Ranger(?) at the info building was friendly & knowledgeable. The diorama/sculpture/topography map of the area was amazing, & the view spectacular.

I recently went on a 'couple's week' vacationing with my wife in the Berkshires. We wanted to see the area in the fall, to see the colors and tour the villages in the area. Our second day we decided to take a drive up to Mt. Greylock...WOW! The forest here was just lit up with color, and driving through it... More

The monument was being repaired but this was not a problem. The views on the way up to it and on the way down were worth the trip. There are two entrances to the park.I suggest you enter by one and leave by the other and stop on the way up and down. Fantastic views of the Fall colours. Look... More

Well worth the trip to the top, with the option of taking one of a number of trails. Unfortunately the memorial at the top is under restoration and so was not accessible for our visit.

Traveled to the summit in the fall and views were spectacular. The memorial at the summit was being renovated and could not visit. Had lunch at the Bascom lodge and it was good but lines were long and it took a while. Well worth seeing for the view.
