In the mid to late 1960's, my uncle would take me to Poquoy Brook 2-3 times per month. When we first started going there it was only a 9 hole course, but the conditions have always been outstanding. Having played golf for nearly 50 years, I can highly recommend this fine public course.

Very well maintained, friendly staff. Has some challenging holes, but very fair. The clubhouse is very old school. The best feature is the quiet. Pretty isolated from housing and traffic noise, so you can really relax and enjoy your round.

Play Poquoy Brook 4-5 times a year. Fair pricing, friendly staff, nice layout with generous landing areas except for 2nd hole, reduced fees for juniors, great food at the turn especially the brownies, not overly challenging always in good shape. FUN GOLF EXPERIENCE !!!!

This place is in my top 5 for New England golf! Always in great shape and the staff is friendly. Very hot the past couple of days but the course still looked and played as it should. Don't pass up the chance for a fun but challenging round!

Always a great day on the links at Poquoy Brook! I really enjoy the well maintained greens and the serene calm. Players are respectful and the staff is terrific. Stop in for a quick bite on the turn or after 18 and you won;t regret it.

The course is pretty long and very well maintained. Like other reviewers, you do need a cart, there are some hills... Playing there in the fall in New England is very nice, nice foliage, can get windy at times. The food in the clubhouse is just about average, nothing fancy is served, just some fast food. I do play there... More

Make sure you get a cart as this is a very hilly, up and down course. A nice variety of difficult holes that will make you test every type of shot.

Excellent test of golf.....fair, but tough and FUN.....except for the BUGS....everyone I spoke to about the course had something to say about the BUGS.....I didn't wear a hat or visor and they didn't bother me too much...but my partner had a visor and they were ALL OVER him.....it was comical to watch..... The one thing that REALLY BOTHERED me was... More
