This park has a fort and wonderful picnic area for children and adults. There is enough entertainment for children even on gray days! On sunny days you can also enjoy the beautiful beach they have. There is parking but you have to take cash $15...More

Had a lovely walk around the fort and the beach here. So many beautiful views here. You can picnic here , walk here, see sites here and also swim here.

This is the featured park area of Gloucester. On a hill above the harbor, looking back at the city, it also has the information center and PARKING and a shuttle to attractions (seasonally).

Was up there last weekend and had really great time diving from the shore. The parking lot was $15 to park and fills up pretty fast. The beach was nice, but mostly rock at high tide.

There are many attractive features within this park. Probably my fave spot is this rocky ledge that overlooks a small protected sandy beach below. Not crazy about the steep parking price though.

I have never noticed a gas grille at the park. I would think a gas grille is more practical and safer than charcoal. They have receptacles for the hot charcoals for your conveyance. If you want to make sure then I would... More
