This public library boasts the first children's library in it's own building built in 1950. The adult library is a great example of mid-century modernism. Both designed by Koch. Lots of local history and information.

The staff here is outstanding. All libraries, I believe, are challenged in an age when our home technology will deliver whatever we want. However, using the library for book groups, CDs and videos, a quiet place to browse, and a knowledgeable individual to offer insight on research topics, are still most welcomed. The Fitchburg Public Library does its best to... More

With the days of the internet, and Kindle, libraries are falling out of favor. This is a good one, the information desk has helpful staff, and they can order any book you need. My wife gets emails a few times a month from them, she belongs to a few book clubs, and the library gets them in for the meetings.... More

Library seems to have a lot of after school clubs for kids. They have a 3D printer you can use and a bunch of new DVDs and cds.

This library was great long time ago. I did use the services for many years, Unfortunately, we can't say the same. Instead, you want to visit the Leominster Public Library.

The town does not support it well enough. The books are old along with the videos and everything else. The computers are very old. The town takes ALL their fines and uses them for the general fund like her raise.

This building is a little 'tired', but the staff tries to help as much as possible. These days, if a library doesn't have what you want, you can get it delivered to your library from another that has it, so don't judge any particular library by its stacks. This library has a nice children's area.

Nice quiet place to study. Some of their computers are outdated and certain websites you can't access. Some of the staff are very friendly and others need an adjustment.

On several occasions I had the opportunity to search for books and information at the Fitchburg Public Library. Their librarians are extremely helpful, willing to go the extra mile to help t heir customers. There's a wealth of research material and books with library and online resources.
