There are two sections to Old Silver Beach. One side is for Falmouth residents and the other is open to the public, with a charge for parking. Beautiful sand and clear water are the main attractions.

Nice beach, good parking and nice for families. Water littler warmer and calmer than further down in the cape. Great sunsets at night and easy to get off the island in the evening.

The bay is actually frozen. The waves looked like giant slurpees. I bet there is a nice beach under the ice. Parking appeared to be somewhat limit so that may be an issue during the summer.

Despite the temperature feeling like 1 degree, the sunset was gorgeous and worth the near frostbite while taking pictures!

this had been a family favorite since I was a child growing up on the cape. Now I being my daughter every summer. They have improved the snack bar and the water sand and sunset are the best on the cape!

My hubby and I were in search of a beach to hang out at for an hour or two. What a beautiful beach this is. It also had plenty of parking (We were there in the off-season though).

A nice place to spend the day enjoying the water. The parking is easy and refreshments are available in nearby stores. A clean beach to enjoy the sun and fun.
