I didn't know what to expect, but it was a great find that wasn't on our list of things to do. They were having an art exhibit which included the College Women's Association of Japan exhibition as well as an exhibit by Jim and Debbie Bowen of their art and rhymes mosaic alphabet. Fabulous! The sunken garden was enchanting and... More

A very active agenda and always interesting for all walks of life. Out door activities and all kinds of indoor exibits from fine arts to model trains. I have made several visits. Go on line and view upcoming exibits.

This was a pleasant old mansion which had been decorated by a local decorator for the Christmas season. Can't say I really liked her style much. The house had a very nice tea room where they served cookies, muffins, tea and cider. (The cookies smelled awesome). The library room was very nice, although it wasn't originally like this as it... Highfield Hall has been beautifully restored and offers an in-depth look at the history of the Beebe family and their impact on Cape Cod. The house is unique in that it allows visitors freedom to explore the house and its' revolving display of art works, use the reading room and stroll the gardens.

This was an outstanding tour/viist. I would highly recommend visiting Highfield Hall and suggest watching for their exhibitions. A lovely home and grounds to tour. I was fascinated by the history of Highfield Hall and Gardens. This property had been in complete disrepair and was almost turned into another subdivision. It was saved by the Falmouth townspeople and has been lovingly restored. The $5 admission fee is a bargain. Don't miss the gardens. FYI - the parking area is to the left of the mansion... More

We visited on Free Friday after 4 . It's a lovely house and the art work was interesting. It would be a beautiful setting for a private wedding. It is definitely not a place for children. Most of the interior was renovated to look like a gallery. It did include some items and decoration that matched the house's time period... More

The Hall is wonderful with it's many rooms filled with Japanese lithographs and woodcuts available for sale. We visited on Wednesday when the docent is there to give so much information. A must see. Get there soon because it will be gone soon.

Saw review in Boston Globe, and went for the day to see wonderfully restored Mansion and Gardens. That alone would have been worth the low admission price of $5. But it also included a delightful exhibit of Japanese prints, which was world class in itself! Hurry quickly to see the print exhibit, as it is only there until mid Sept.... More
