In October they have actors and actresses from the period of time when the murders took place, posing as Lizzie, her father, stepmother and housekeeper. You will enjoy the tour of the actual house.

Immediately upon walking into the Lizzie Borden house I got a terrible feeling in my throat. My companions felt nauseous & had head aches. If you like the macabre, you must go to Lizzie's house. After stop by the Fall River Historical society & the cemetery where all of Lizzie's family is buried.

I had looked forward to visiting this attraction for such a long time, and it didn't disappoint! Our tour guide was very friendly and informative. He seemed quite knowledgeable on the history (as he should be) and was even able to give his theories. The house seems quite well preserved in some ways, though it is a functioning B&B, so... More

Visit the famous house of Lizzie Borden in Fall River. Step back in time to see where the gruesome murders took place. We took one of the tours that explain the horrors that happened here. Not a passerby and not for the meek. Check online for the tour times and details. Dare to ask about staying overnight in one of... More

My husband and I picked the perfect January day to finally take a tour of the Lizzie Borden House. Richard was our tour guide. When we arrived we looked around the barn in the back that holds the little gift shop plus some interesting photos and information. Richard was energetic and extremely knowledgeable about the case and the family. He... More

We stopped here on our way to Salem and took the guided tour. Our guide was very good and we learned so many things about this family and the famous murder for which Lizzie was not found guilty. Of creepy interest would be the actual skull of her father showing the wound. It really was a very interesting tour, not... More

Stopped by here on our way back from Salem. We took the daytime tour and loved it. Our tour guide was Danielle and she was very informative. I feel the tour price is a bit steep, but it's definitely something you should check out if you're into history or the paranormal. If you're going to stay the night, skip the... More

Our tour guide was excellent. We learned a lot, mostly that the 70s movie was not very accurate. Also interesting to note you can spend the night! On my list of things to do.

My boyfriend and I just toured the Lizzie Borden House this past weekend while we were staying in Newport, RI.. I never realized how close Falls River was to where we were staying until we drove into Mansfield to see family. I have been waiting to do a tour/rent a room since I was a little girl and could hardly... More

We just went on the tour of the house. It was very interesting. They told us things that we didn't read anywhere. We got to see pictures and memorabilia from the time of the murders. The tour guides were great and also encouraged us to go the cemetery after (which we just did). I just wish I was brave enough... More
