It was nice to see the place where Lizzy Borden went after the murders. It is not open to the public and I believe is privately owned. You are able to take pictures of the outside if you wish. It sure would be nice to be able to have tours of the house.

It was a beautiful home, didn't get to go inside and I actually thought it would be bigger but nice just the same.

If you're a fan of the history of Lizzie Borden, this is part of her life's story. A second location. Unfortunately, at this time, it is not open for visitors but you can take a picture. Just be respectful to owners.

No visit to Fall River is complete without a drive-by of Maplecroft. Nice to see when you consider the history involved.Worth a look.

Did a drive by in between the tour of the house and the cemetery. It was nice to see where she continued on with her life. It is a bit of a bummer you cannot go inside. However it's great the b&b gives you directions to pass it prior to the cemetery. Maybe one day the owners will allow tours.

You can't go in Maplecroft but you can view it from the outside. It's worth viewing this home especially if you stayed in the Lizzie Borden B&B ... it helps you to understand Lizzie's state of mind with one house versus the other. Maplecroft is beautiful and the person who owns it is restoring it and may eventually open it... More

Lizzie always wanted to live in the rich part of the city which was called "the Hill". Lizzie and her sister, now heirs to their murdered father's large estate, moved to this house 20 days after Lizzie was found not guilty. As you go up the hill, the house is on the left. It is the third house from the... More

Maplecroft is only a few minutes from the Lizzie Borden Bed & Breakfas. We missed the last tour so we had time to drive by to snap a quick picture.

After visiting the Lizzie Borden House you will want to drive by Maplecroft, where Lizzie moved after the murders. It's an average looking house in a residential neighborhood and is privately owned. It is a short drive from the Borden house so there is no reason not to see it.You can only see the outside so it can't compare to... More
