We boat here a lot. The sandbars are like having your own private island! Wildlife, fish, water temp, views, sugar sand beaches and sandbars with HUGE clams make this a favorite place to visit and bring guests to.

I don't own a kyak but it looks like an ideal place to paddle around and explore. Lots of marsh birds.

The boats come in by the meandering river as it makes it's way from the harbor through the dense marsh-land, one by one, as if in a flotilla. Calm and serene it is as the river seems so peaceful as each boat seems reluctant for...More

Lovely river that makes it's way through salt marshes to Ipswich Bay. Sleepy, lazy, and a great summer experience.
