The French King Bridge is an interesting cantilever arch bridge spanning the Connecticut River. Its lighting and railings have rich architectural detail. The setting is quiet and restful. And right next door is the wonderful French King Restaurant. Some of the best food we've ever...More

It used to be pretty polluted from all the factories, but in the last few years has really redeemed itself. Fantastic trout fishing (catch and release) and now open for recreational use which is really wonderful. I hope to see more and more opportunities to...More

This river was a constant for me for 4 years of commuting from Montague, MA to Worcester, MA, winding as if does along route 2. Beautiful in the morning with mists rising, and some old New England villages along the way.
