With all the winter storms, beach erosion has become a real problem for South Beach. The sand has been pushed inland almost to the creek. But, still it is a lovely beach and will be a wonderful vacation spot this summer. We walked along it...More

Lovely way to spend a few hours. We went by bikes hired in Edgartown which made parking a dream. Lovely beach and great to watch the biplanes flying from nearby airfield

If you enjoy natural beauty this is a great place to visit, even when there are single digit wind chills like the day we visited. Beautiful dunes and breathtaking views of the beach, shore, water and sun over them all. I am certain that in...More

My family loves the beach. It's got some surf, but not too much! It's perfect for the little kids as well as the adults.

I go down to this beach as often as I can. The dunes, the surf and the fabulous sunsets are worth every step. Easy to get to and one of our natures gifts....

We visited the beach during last weekend of Oct; and it felt like a private beach. Very few folks around. Beautiful waters; long beaches to take a walk. I am guessing it gets crowded during summer.

Very windy cycle to get there but certainly worth the effort. Beach was practically deserted despite it being a lovely day. What amazing views

This beach was stunning! Only stopped off for a short time as part of a private tour but would loved to have stayed the full day! Very clean, white sand, blue waters! What more do you need! :)

Beautiful beach, soft soft sand! Not swamped with people. Down right gorgeous! First visit to Martha's Vineyard, never visited east coast beaches, as it compares to West coast beaches, just as nice.

Not sure about Shuttle bus. We hired bikes (very reasonable) and a great way to visit the many beaches & lighthouse along the way
