I go down to this beach as often as I can. The dunes, the surf and the fabulous sunsets are worth every step. Easy to get to and one of our natures gifts....

We visited the beach during last weekend of Oct; and it felt like a private beach. Very few folks around. Beautiful waters; long beaches to take a walk. I am guessing it gets crowded during summer.

A bit crowded in the Summer. Great off season. Swimming in the often pounding surf and cool water takes some ... fortitude and good swimming skills. Ltd services available. Bring your chairs, towels, and food. Seems to be popular with surfers and surf casters. Seals...More

Very windy cycle to get there but certainly worth the effort. Beach was practically deserted despite it being a lovely day. What amazing views

This beach was stunning! Only stopped off for a short time as part of a private tour but would loved to have stayed the full day! Very clean, white sand, blue waters! What more do you need! :)

Beautiful beach, soft soft sand! Not swamped with people. Down right gorgeous! First visit to Martha's Vineyard, never visited east coast beaches, as it compares to West coast beaches, just as nice.

I think the waves are bigger and the water is a touch warmer than other beaches. Most people let the air out of their tires and drive out onto this beach with 4wd vehicles. Like a big tailgate party at the beach!

We used to go to South Beach every summer, exclusively, but now we stay up island and go to another beach. South Beach is great for older kids, but not for the little ones. Very strong waves and not very relaxing for parents of smaller...More

Sand, no stones, good water. Toilets. Close to the bus stop. I would like if there would be food/water counter, though.

Yes, you have to get a permit to drive a vehicle on the beach. No fee to sun bathe.
