Beautiful white sand to go along with the sunset. We unfortunately had some clouds so it wasn't the best sunset I've seen but I'm sure on a clear night its perfect. Looking forward to our next visit to see it again. Took a pizza and...More

It's always beautiful, but really fun as the tide goes out and you have a beach growing from 150 feet to 1500 feet. We played frisbee in the water and kept moving out as the water receeded. There are lots of critters to discover, and...More

Best spot - great for all types and ages. Variety of beach activity you can’t find on ocean side with the changing tides - as tide goes our, pools of water are great wading and exploring. Sand dollars to be searched at low tide. Mayflower...More

Great beach for family to be together for the day! Long beaches when tide is low and nice for long walks! Water is lovely and calm. A snack bar and restrooms and outdoor shower for rinsing off. 2 large parking lots. Lots do fill up...More

Mayflower is the perfect beach for families with younger children as there are lifeguards, bathroom facilities, snack bar and shallow water. Low tide, as probably mentioned many times on here, expands the beach to the point that as far as the eye can see is...More

So from staying at the Cape for a week, one of my favorite things about the beaches is they all have their own personality. Mayflower is definitely in the category of "no waves but sweet tidal pools and sandbars for miles at low tide". My...More

One of the best beaches at the cape. Low tide takes the water out several hundred yards and exposes shallow warm tidal pools that are great for the kids to play in. Small waves, clear water, sandy bottom. Parking is $25 per day 9am -...More

We love Mayflower beach. If you want to get a parking spot, get there early (8:30 is usually still good). It is on the bay side, so don't expect big waves. For oldet kids that still want action, they can skim board rather than surf....More

My wife and I visited Mayflower beach in July, 2018. This beach is one of its kind. It is all white sand and the water is so shallow that you can walk in the water for at least half a mile, no joke. It's awesome....More

Very, very crowded lot. Once you are in line, no way to get out. There really is no way to actually swim as you can walk out for ages and still only be up to your ankles. Good for babies and toddlers I guess. $25...More

There is only an outdoor shower for rinsing off. There are plans to build a new bath house next year. If you would like a better bath house with changing rooms, go to Corporation Beach which has a new bath house, not sure... More
