The deco painted ceiling and fresh popcorn really upped the ante for this delightful theatre hidden away from the main road. A single auditorium with most glorious painted ceiling and very comfortable red leather chairs, the theatre was as fun as the movie.

This vintage movie theater is one of my favorites for entertainment on the Cape - they always feature interesting films, mostly independent and sometimes international. The building is classic with a huge mural by artist Rockwell Kent stretching across the domed ceiling and they've recently...More

A great place to see current movies on Cape Cod. The seats are very comfortable and the interior of the theater is quite beautiful. The theater is certainly worth a detour.

Treat yourself to a cinematic experience unique and sublime. The painted ceiling alone is worth the trip. Go!

Miss the old seats with covers, but still a trip down memory lane theater. No surround sound. Sad but quaint. Concessions available as well as pillows to make movie experience more comfy.

We look forward to attending movies at the Cape Cinema, in the unique atmosphere of the hand painted mural on the ceiling, and the arm chairs. We've enjoyed many movies that may not appear in your average theater. Love our cinema experiences.

I really appreciate the comfort of Cape Cinema. The building is an old meeting house with a mural painted on the ceiling. The newly reupholstered seats were very comfortable. Unlike most larger movie theaters today, the sound level was not ear-splitting. All in all a very...More

The Cape Cinema has a mural on its ceiling painted by Rockwell Kent. It is an amazing piece of art. The movies they show are lesser known quality films that usually don't play at the larger chain theaters. Everything is comfortable old school, except the...More

A quaint old movie theatre with interesting painted ceiling and old time leather seats. They show movies you may not be able to see other places. It is right on the center of Dennis Village on Route 6A on the grounds of the Playhouse. A...More

Excellent film in old theater. Seats could be more comfortable, but quaint atmosphere. Good selection of films.
