This city is the actual area of where the hanging's/trials took place...they changed their name from Salem to Danvers a few months after this tragedy. Very nice location with almost no tourists. We were there with no one else on a Sunday in October.

This isn't my normal choice on a vacation, but the history and education make this a must do stop in Danvers. Good activity for all ages.
