What a blast! Monomoy Island Ferry is the best seal tour ever. Very informative and fun tour. We had been on another tour and this was so much better. I suggest taken this tour!!

Somewhat disappointing trip on Sat Sept 3. We saw about 15 seals right outside the harbor and then idled in the same for approx an hour while the captain talked to us about seals. He told us a number of stories, was pretty funny and he was clearly very knowledgeable about the area. We didn't go any where near Monomoy.

Well organized tour. We made reservation over the phone a day before a planned trip. It was educational tour and we saw thousands of sea seals not far from the coast. The length of the tour was an hour and a half. We also observed a fish ship at the dock of the fish market where fish was delivered. Highly... More

What a fun couple hours, our captain was funny and fun, he was also very informative. We stopped in three or four areas and saw seals on land and many in the sea. We saw several light houses along the way. We received a good history lesson along with the seal cruise. We learned so much about the seals and... More

The seal tour of Monomoy Island was fabulous! Be warned that it is a bumpy and wet ride out to/from Monomoy Island but well worth any discomfort. Cpt. Keith was a wealth of information and brought us in close to shore to get superb photos of many seals. And then the seals swam out to the boat giving us even... More

Thank you for your comments. Just want to clarify a few things. The day of your trip we had deteriorating weather, which caused the bumpy ride, that is why we only did the one trip that day. Your "where are you" call is standard practice for us. We ask people to arrive a half hour early to park, check in... More

we sat next to the captain, in the cabin and had a horrible view!!! we saw 5 seals, I've seen more at the beach. The boat idles the entire time, so engine fumes were not pleasant. Not worth the $$ Find another boat

You didn't have your choice of seating, because you almost missed the boat. The engines remain running at all times for the protection of the animals swimming around the boat, as I'm sure the captain explained to you, how the seals track via vibration and sound. My staff still talk about how they were treated by you and your guests... More

Wonderful excursion and great people. Very informative and entertaining bunch. Our captain knew exactly where to go to see seals, and was very knowledgeable. Also, we were scheduled to go on a shark excursion, but since conditions weren't ideal, and chances of actually seeing sharks would have been poor, they cancelled, which I appreciated. I'm sure there are many other... More

We called in weeks ahead for availability as our trip was going to be during the off-season (a few weeks after Labor Day). When I called back the day before to confirm our tour the next day, the guy said that he could only get four other people, so he didn't want to do the tour the next day. No... More

Monomoy Island is beautiful and this alone makes a boat trip out worthwhile. The grey seals we saw bobbing around our boat were a bonus. But the tour has potential to be so much better. Once we were out in the viewing area we basically just sat there floating around for an hour. We did not go around the island... More

Our seal crusie is and always has been an educational tour. The trip is a seal cruise not a beach shuttle. We offer private cruises for both, which would have allowed you to get the version of either you wanted. I do want to thank the other people on board, who kept their complaints about your constant complaining until the... More

We went out to look at seals aboard the Rip Ryder with captain Keith. It was great, Keith had vast knowledge and the tour was informative. We saw seals almost immediately. Highly recommend this trip.
