Quaint covered bridge

Small neat covered bridge. On the road between Mt Snow and the Berkshires. No place nearby to park, and it's a thin road in the winter.

A short distance off R2, The Mohawk Trial, you will find this bridge. It is a beautiful covered bridge. It spans across running water and there is a viewing area. Not a lot of parking near here but luckily the road is not busy. A great stop along the way.

This pretty covered bridge on North Heath Road is a very short detour off the Mohawk Trail. The bridge is 92 feet long and spans Mill Brook. It’s in a picturesque setting. It was rebuilt in 1951 and has been kept in nice condition so it makes a good subject for photos. During my visit, the water level was pretty... More

This is an attractive covered bridge covering a fast moving rock lined stream. There is a little traveled road near the bridge that makes for pleasant short walks

There are more than a few bridges in the area and we made a day of it. The Bissell was in great shape and still in use. Not a great place to walk across kind of winding road. The back roads are great if you like a relaxed afternoon.

It's a well-maintained, still in use covered bridge. There really isn't anything more to tell about it.

If you are driving up the hill to the bridge, there is some parking if you veer to the right before the bridge and on the left hand side. You don't have to spend a long time hear but the waterfall and fall colors while I was there made it quite scenic. Great reason to break up a country drive.
