I have only been to Nickerson by bike while on the Cape Cod Rail Trail. I love to detour through the park on the bike trails which meander through a range of scenery- trees, meadow, forests, hills and valleys. It is usually not very busy...More

This is a go to place to bike on the cape. Dedicated 8 miles of paved paths through the woods. The trail is very hilly so not great for littles, I would say 8yrs and up. My son is 9 and loved the challenge of...More

Terrific place to visit. Went with family and friends and everyone had a great time. Clean pond with kayak and boat rentals, unspoiled scenery, and restrooms. What's not to like. If you're in the area and tired of the beaches, check out Nickerson for different...More

We stayed three days at the park in August in section 6X. The sites in the park are varied. I deliberately picked our site (#146) in 6X because it looked like it was one of the larger sites and had more privacy. Which it did....More

We rode our mountain bikes here on the cape cod rail trail in search of some single track. The paved trails through the park are beautiful and very little traffic. They pass around many ponds and thickly wooded areas with lots of shade. Plenty of...More

There are no sites directly on ponds. You have to walk down a trail to them

In general the sites away from the water and further out are larger and will be more private. Check out areas 6, 6x and 7.
