Tower Hill Botanic Garden is New England's year-round botanic garden, a living museum of plants exquisite in every season. Several distinctive gardens arrange plants according to an overall Master Plan, that includes a Lawn Garden, Secret Garden, Systematic Garden, Cottage & Vegetable Garden, Wildlife Refuge Pond, Winter Garden, and more. Two conservatories--the Orangerie and the Limonaia--display non-hardy plants in winter, with blooming flowers in every season. Springtime brings more than a quarter million flowering bulbs, including a signature field of more than 25,000 daffodils.

We visited recently to see the gardens decorated for the holidays. The lights were pretty, they did a great job inside with various trees they decorated and the tiny botanical village on display. Outdoors was spacious and generously decorated. The draw backs I felt were...More

Bring your hiking shoes and enjoy the wonderful trails, winding around woods, fields, meadows, and sculptures. Lunch on the cafe patio is a perfect break before touring the pristine gardens and conservatories!

I happened to spot the signs for this garden whilst travelling on the I84-E and we are pleased that we made the short detour to visit. This botanical garden is subdivided into a number of smaller gardens and has a couple of 'greenhouses'. There is...More

We had been here years ago one spring-it's over an hour drive-and thought we'd check it out for fall colors. We recalled both indoors and outdoors as spectacular. And they are! This would be 5 stars if not for the unpleasant experience with the hostess...More

The gardens are so huge that it is hard to see them all in one day. It would be wonderful to get a membership and visit this area once a season because there would be something different to see each time. The buildings have different...More

We didn't think there would be much to see in early October, so we were pleasantly surprised to see so many plants thriving and still in bloom. After spending the first couple of hours wandering the forest paths around the outer perimeter, we worked our...More
