Have taken five of my six grandchildren there. Twice. The first time we went the llamas were hanging out in the shade and one llama was busy making whopee with another. I didn't tell the kids. Told their mom. Other than that, the zoo was...More

Excellent free to bring family. Learning about new bear was great. Can't wait for warmer weather so we can do too, swings and picnic in the park. Stay awesome SBY Zoo.

Despite our recent "blizzard," staff at Salisbury Zoo welcomed visitors. Walking paths were cleared quickly. Animals appeared to be well cared for. Staff were friendly.

The zoo is great place, especially if you have children. My 3 loved it. They also have an app to download that tells you about animal you see. It was very cool and fun for our family.

Unusual in being entirely funded by the city, Salisbury Zoo is free to the public. No, you won't see tigers or pandas. However, you will be very close to spectacled bears, a jaguar, coatis (frequently active), an ocelot, and cute wallabies. A gift shop and...More
