The ferry is a most wonderful way to travel. We were delighted to experience the ease and calm of the river crossing. We highly recommend it.

Excellent Captain and crew. The Ferry is a short distance from St. MICHAELS and allows you to take a half of day trip to Oxford. You will dock a block from the famous Robert Morris Inn

Oxford-Bellevue is the oldest continuously running ferry in the United States. It is a must see and do to take the trip across the tred Avon river. The view of Oxford' Strand is wonderful. As is the view of the river and homes dotting the shoreline. Don't miss it!

Short hop between Bellevue and Oxford, but this makes the trip quick, but fun. Owners captain the ferry and are really pleasant. Great for biking and exploring the Eastern Shore. Runs every 20 min, or on demand during times of low activity. I highly recommend doing this while in Oxford.

We took the ferry back to Oxford from having dinner in St. Michaels. Ferry runs approximately every half hour from either direction. You could drive to St. Michaels but taking the ferry, especially around sunset is fun. Runs only until about 7:00 pm each evening.

After breakfast at Robert Morris Inn, we popped on the ferry for a quick trip to St. Michaels. A scenic interesting little activity!

Stayed at the Robert Morris Inn and used the ferry to get to the St Michael's area. Fun way to make the trip. Missed the ferry and had to wait about 25-30 minutes for the next one. Locals apparently know that if you miss the ferry, it's faster to make the trip via the local roads. We did it for... More

We rode our car onto the ferry and enjoyed a nice 10 minute cruise to the other side as we were headed to St. Michael's. The ferry staff were very friendly and kind and the other passengers were nice as well. Great way to travel and enjoy the water!

This is a short little ferry ride. It travels frequently - one does not need reservations. The drive to and from is very pretty and the views from the ferry are just spectacular. The weather was gorgeous, so that helped of course. It is a small diversion from the main route out of the Delaware/Maryland peninsula, and well worth it,... More
