Most beautiful fall that's nearest to Baltimore . About 45 minutes drive from Baltimore.Parking can be an issue on a busy day , start early . The hike is short about 0.6 miles.

The "Park Rangers" at the entrance were not able to determine the number of available parking spots in their small 28 car lot. Three times they rudely interacted with us and would not allow us to enter "their" park even though just behind them we...More

Camp Wo-me-to is for cub scouts & 4-H mostly. The conowingo dam has nice camping areas around. It's about 20 min. away. DNR of Harford County will be able to give you better answers.

I see no reason why not. The hike is not technical and the trails are easy. There were several children and dogs there. Of course, be careful around the edges so they don't fall, but it should be no problem for a 5 year old.

The dog should be able to handle both. You will probably have to carry it over some of the creeks on the way to the falls depending on how small it is.
