This place was fantastic place to view the bald eagles. I went there expecting a couple of eagles but ended up seeing upto 50+. Great place for bird watching

I've never seen a dam quite like the Conowingo HYDRODAM. It is worth the stop to learn how it works and what it does. Photographers come to photograph Eagles. Lots of quirky venues around the area. Stop and check it out!

By a friend who lives in the area, I was told that Early November to mid-late December is the best time....you may catch some as late as Feb. I was there during thanksgiving and saw 50-75 eagles
