First is safety, it's always number one at Earth Treks. I am not a climber, this experience really gave me confidence. I don't just mean scaling walls, but in everyday life. I will say age is not a factor. I did it several times, it is a challenge and fun. Never thought about it? Then I would suggest at least... More

We take our camp here every year and the staff is really good with the kids. The facility is clean and they have plenty of courses to try with various levels. I love the bouldering area. They also have a room with cardio equipment. Membership is "pricey" but if I lived closer, I would probably have joined!

My teenage son and I have been members for over a year. We love the differing levels of routes and the fact that they change the routes on a regular basis. They also offer yoga classes, fitness classes and a gym to work out. Some hours (right after work) are incredibly busy. Try to go during off hours and you... More

With friendly staff and a wide assortment of climbs, Earth Treks Columbia is definitely a good time, for both boulderers and top-ropers. My only gripes are: 1) The holds could definitely use some cleaning and perhaps replacing; and 2) the entry fee for non-regular users is quite high at 22 USD per person. However, once you get over the steep... More

Staff can be condescending however if you are just looking for an intro then by all means. They have a small variety of equipment for you to purchase; the walls are nothing special, so don't expect lots of options, and good luck on crowded days.

I like to try out new rock gyms while traveling and was super excited for earth treks because I had heard such good things about it. The bouldering area lacked a true roof and was not particularly large. The staff was slightly condescending. Overall, not the best experience.

The Earth Trek Climbing Centers are a high quality and safe place to climb indoors. I have been a member for about eight months, and have taken nearly all of their introductory and intermediate classes. Each course has been of a reasonable size, with excellent instructors who do a good job of teaching their students in a safe environment. As... More

I have been a member of Earth Treks in Columbia for about 6 months. They offer a great introductory class that teaches the skills necessary to become belay certified. I recommend you complete the class even if you have someone who can teach you the knots and calls. I believe my membership is around $70 a month, which is not... More

Neta was an excellent instructor. We entered as soon as it opened, so it wasn't crowded at all for the open climb. Neta was so patient, answered all of our questions, cheered us on, and gave plenty of suggestions on how to make the climbing experience enjoyable. This was our first time climbing a rock wall indoors and there were... More

We love this place. My son climbs here and the teachers are engaging and ideal for leading young kids. My wife and I tried the free climb for our first climb and our instructor was extremely friendly and helpful. We definitely recommend.
