The newly-opened Harriet Tubman National. Very informative - Harriet Tubman's life from birth to death. Remarkable person, not only was she responsible for rescuing many slaves to freedom but she also rescued her parents and her siblings. Remarkable!

Long overdue, this is a nice , small look at the history touched by this remarkable woman. Inexpensive day trip visit that is near Blackwater refuge.

As a local resident, I was so very impressed with the amount of effort and detail put into this museum. This was a powerful exhibit that does its best to make you understand how unbelievable Harriet Tubman was.

Ranger Mary was very helpful when we arrived in pointing out items of interest for the grandkids. The exhibits were beautiful and provided a lot of historical context about the Underground RR and Harriet Tubman. We enjoyed the visit.

This newly opened, beautiful building has a relatively small but very educational museum section. The exhibits included a well-chosen combination of sculpture, other art and written displays. My friend and I learned quite a bit about Harriet Tubman's life, yet we didn't feel overwhelmed with...More
