Don't rely too heavily on the other reviews. We almost didn't go and that would have been a shame. Yes it was 20 bucks for an adult and yes it was 35 min. However, the tour was wonderful. I have never seen so many beautiful...More

I've seen Mammoth Caverns and many others around the country. Crystal Grottos is small but nice. Over priced unfortunately, but a very cool cave experience.

This is about an hour or so from where I live so my son and I tried it for an afternoon fun trip. I have to corroborate other reviewers' comments - interesting tour (history, formations) with nice formations but short and pricey (I had a...More

The friendly staff and guide made this visit really enjoyable. The stalactites and stalagmites were beautiful.

Only takes 30 minutes to tour. Not the largest or most beautiful cavern, but ok for Maryland. Overpriced however at $20 (cash only).

Very interesting guided tour round caverns 60 feet underground. Amazing formations. Perhaps not for the claustrophobic.

Excellent tour guide in the caverns, pointing out the various shapes in the formations and explaining the processes that create them. Also explained the history of the caves and their discovery.

I think the cave is quite a treasure and have been there before. But this time was led through with a group that had one child among half dozen adults and the guide spent the entire tour talking like they were a clown constantly trying...More

I would say they are not. There are some narrow passages and a pray wouldn't fit through. There are also steps leading down to th cavern. I agree that a child under 4 or 5 might enjoy it for a little while but since they... More
