One of the most picturous places on Maine

Beautiful view of an old, but still working light house. Easy to drive to, gift shop, restrooms, and even a nice restaurant near by.

Lots of people wanted to see this stately lighthouse perched up on the hillside. There are some power lines that you have to contend with for picture taking

The Nubble Light is simply a picturesque gem on a rocky outcrop just off the Maine coastline. This little side trip is well worth your time if you're passing through southern Maine. The gift shop is a decent stop as well.

I have gone here every season except for winter. This year I changed that. We went one day before Christmas Eve to see it lit up and a beautiful sun set to boot. It was pretty chilly by the water but so pretty. We saw it in the light then took a walk along the river and came back just... More

If you are in southern Maine, take the time to visit Nubble Light at Cape Neddick. Easy to find. Ample parking. Great photo opportunities. The light and island are just offshore, there are benches scattered about facing the island, great for relaxing and watching the ocean.

Another New England lighthouse to visit and photograph. All in all I visited 15 lighthouses. This one is on top of my list to have visited.

If you are driving alone the Maine coast, it is a good spot to visit. We were there this week and it is beautiful and scenic. There is parking to view the light house across the water. You can not get to the the lighthouse as it sits on an island.

This is a very scenic, classic New England lighthouse worth a drive by. There is partking, and a park if you'd llke to sit for a while. There is a neaby ice cream stand you can walk to, as well as another one along the drive nearby, but with excellent qulaity ice cream. There are a few celebrfations trhough the... More

This was a beautiful light house and walk. Spring and Summer are a great time to go. This is one of the most photographed lighthouses and they have a nice gift shop. There is also a restaurant with amazing views of the ocean.

I've seen beautiful lighthouses from Hawaii to Ireland, from Florida to Prince Edward Island, but this one is perhaps the most iconic of them all. Absolutely stunningly!
