My husband and I stayed in the Wilson Lake Inn for one night in early March 2017. We arrived at 5:30 pm, and the staff was very welcoming, helpful and friendly. Our room was modest with a tub and toilet in the bathroom and the sink in the main room. There were a table and two chairs in the room... More

One of the myriad of ponds & lakes in Maine. Its charm is in its non-uniqueness, with chances off a somewhat more relaxed stay, removed from the hub-bub of more popular water spots. It's large enough if you want to water ski, but no huge marinas, or resorts.

Most lakes are too busy to really enjoy -- not this peaceful place! There's some tourism in the area, but the amount of people and boats is very manageable. Beautiful mountains in the distance, a sandy beach available, loon sightings possible... Perfection!

Loved sitting by the lake and watching two young boys fishing for crawfish. Bought takeout at a local restaurant and sat watching the waves. Lovely park across the street.

Wilson lake is ideal for boating and swimming alike. The water was quite warm and we saw quite a few birds.

Beautiful, clean lake. Small community with a lot to offer. Good places to eat, Movie theatre nearby and wonderful scenery. Well worth the visit.

There are more lakes in Maine than you can count but we have come to love Wilson Lake best of all. It's just the right size for fishing, canoeing and kayaking with no big boats to disturb the peace and quiet. We rent a house on the lake but there is a nice motel nearby that is the perfect spot...
