Great Beach

Love the free parking when you can get it and a nice long beach to walk. Love the rocks on the beach. Fun to find sealife.

Watching the sun rise over the beach has been on my bucket list for some time now. We decided on Wells Beach because of its extremely close proximity to our hotel (half a mile). Because its the winter, the sun rose around 7:12 am, and while quite cold extremely beautiful. the waves were crashing, the birds were flying and the... More

We came is January and it was FREEZING! But it was expected. If you plan to walk, check the tides and bundle up! The sand is packed so it is easy to walk on and there are some rocks where our kids climbed. I bet it is an amazing beach to swim and lie out at during the summer.

Took a winter stroll on the beach. Saw lots of snowmen build by other people. Walk was very pretty for a winter holiday visit. Trying to walk off lunch. Then going to light house near by. Never saw snow on the beach before. It was always white sand. Something different.

Nubble Lighthouse was stunning with the Christmas Lights. It is awesome anytime of the year in my opinion We love to walk around and look at the ocean and the lighthouse even if the wind is blowing and there is snow on the ground.

Wells Beach is a beautiful, long beach. Enter the beach from the marina during high tides. You can enter from Mile Road when the tide is low. At high Tide, the Mile Road entrance has no beach. Even at peak season there is usually a good amount of space for everyone. Pets are allowed on the beach 24/7 between Sept.... More

It is a lovely beach in a small and sleepy town in Southern Maine. Parking was convenient and the beach is clean and beautiful with the beautiful rocks and wildlife. I even saw a seal! We very much enjoyed our visit.

The scenery is spectacular. The beach offers great waves for playing in the water. Beach area for laying around and enjoying the sun and playing in the sand. There is also a picnic area. So many beaches but this one offers all of it.

Great beach to sun bathe, or walk in the sand and play in the water. Certain times the waves roll in and are so beautiful. Just sit and take in the view and water, and you are in another world.
