Every time I come to Wells one of the first things we do is go to the beach to watch the waves come in and out. It is so calming and enjoyable.

Great beach, maybe lesser known as the bigger beaches nearby but a great place to go. Nice places nearby and some great restaurants within a short distance.

I don't know what the official rules there are regarding smoking. I have seen a few people smoking there, including the lifeguards.

There is a municipal parking lot (fee) off of Island Beach Rd. Follow walking path to jetty/beach area.
