We are staying in Southwest Harbor, a nice laid-back alternative to Bar Harbor, so Maine State Kayaking was right down the road from our rental. Very well-organized operation with friendly staff. Travis was an excellent guide - making sure we saw all the wildlife possible...More

Our guide Travis was amazing! This is the company to use if you want the sea kayak experience. They are about 20 minutes from Bar Harbor, but worth the drive to use them. We did lots of research and loved these guys!

The trip was well executed and Travis our guide was both knowledgeable and personable. The route we took was pristine and we went at a relaxing pace. Saw porpoise, seals, bald eagle, osprey and more. Can't wait to return.
