This place was recommended by a friend and since I enjoyed Rockland Breakwater I thought I would try this walk. Not as far of a walk but still worth it. Beautiful view at the end and I thoroughly enjoyed the little beach at the beginning...More

The walk out to the lighthouse is a little tricky. The area has interesting structures unfortunately no plaques describing their history.

Nice little Lighthouse with a Rocky Ledge not far from the City. A great place to relax with a great view of the harbor. Parking is a bit limited but worth a visit.

It was amazing to walk out along the man made rocks to actually touch the lighthouse. I don't recommend taking children or the elderly out. There are several places that have you have to kept small distances and the rocks are uneven.

Lovely walk out the rock jetty to the light, stopping along the way to watch the sailboats, ferries, fishing boats coming in & out of the harbor.

Don't miss this lighthouse on the campus of Maine Community College. Great place to sit and watch the harbor too. Not far from woods ice cream and Docks seafood.

We stopped here right before sunset and we stayed here to take pictures until well after the moon came out. Well worth the stop!

We walked the path to the lighthouse today, and it is just beautiful. We could see what is left of the old forts and oldest cemetery in the area. I am so jealous that people actually get to teach at the community college and look...More

On our first visit over a decade ago, we toured the coast and stopped at every lighthouse we found on the map. Here, there was a bagpiper playing near the Fort. We walked the stone path and had a great time. Recently, we got to...More
