You can walk out to this lighthouse and the rocks are well situated so most people can easily navigate them. I did not go on a day it was open but it was still worth a close up picture.

Nice place to get away, especially if you like some salt water fishing. Catch mackerel and an occasional bluefish or striper on a live Mack as bait. Use caution walking the granite boulders, some gaps and uneven terrain

Beautiful park with paths along the old fort walls leading out to the causeway. Steps away from Willard Beach and SMCC arboretum.

A little off the beaten path, you can get to this light fairly easily. Then walk out on the breakwater for spectacular views. Good shoes are recommended, and check the website for more info.

This Lighthouse is very easy to access from Portland and offers great photo opportunities. There were lots of boats on the water when we were here.
