Wonderful place to visit. Ship models done in great detail by true craftsmen. They have a great range of products that will interest people of all levels of knowledge about the model ships they manufacture.

your are into model ships. top of the line model kits made on-site. Pricey, but there are some smaller models available for a reasonable price. Lots of nice models on display. A great stop if you are interested in genuine models.

Blue Jacket Shipcrafters are among the elite. Even if you don't (now) put together model ships, a short stop here will "tie together" your visits to the Penobscot Marine Museum and Fort Knox / Penobscot Observatory. These people were our reason for being in Searsport, and it was worth the trip. Bring the kids - they have models for every... More

Definitely worth a stop...you may take up a new hobby, building model ships, as a result of your visit. Housed in an interesting building, this shop, which can also be accessed on-line, has a museum of model ships of all types, sailing ships, tankers, everything...and, most can be either made for you by their team of craftsmen or (even more...
