We visited this nice museum before we headed out on our Foodie Windjammer trip and it was very nice. $8/adults, 6$/seniors. Nice historical presentation of lighthouses, photos, artifacts, Lighthouse keepers and the coastguard.

Simething here for every member of the family. I particularly enjoyed reading about all the women who worked/lived at the lighthouses. All sorts of equipment, lighthouse replicas, lights, clothing to appease all.

Quite frankly, we stopped in almost as much for the A/C as for the lighthouse information....but once we were inside, we found it quite interesting & informative. Glad we stopped.

By far the best museum in Maine and perhaps in all of New England. The collection is beyond amazing. Also, a wonderful gift shop. Any visit to Maine. must include the Maine Lighthouse Museum, a place for the entire family to enjoy.
