We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Captain Jim is so knowledgeable about sailing in New England, and has assembled a remarkable collection. Well worth a visit--plan to spend a fascinating hour or more.

So glad we stopped.Captain Jim Sharp's museum is a real gem. The history of sailing and ship building in the Rockland area is well documented. Many rare old artifacts on display and a wonderful narrated walking tour by Capt Sharp. Don't miss this !!!

Jim Sharpe is truly an icon in the sailing world. His collection and this museum offers deep insight into the New England sailing industry plus. Jim is usually there - pay him a visit. He is one of a kind.

Captain Jim Sharp has worked with windjammers and other seafaring vessels his whole life, and lately he has been working on his museum. It's not large, but worth visiting.
