Mostly flat, scenic view of Portland, and a nice ~3 mile loop. Careful when crossing the bridge as you might wind up getting a longer run than you planned by heading down the promenade trail or some other path instead. While there were mileage signs...More

Great for a run or a ride, with all-round views of Portland's downtown as well as residential areas. The sandy terrain makes for a great workout and you'll love smelling the salt in the air !

This is a great walking path around the Back Cove in Portland. Great for bikes, running or walking. I used to live near here, so I used this path every week, miss it living so close to it.

Went here with an eleven and thirteen year old. We walked the whole 3.6 mile flat trail. It was a bit long for the kids but enjoyable. It is a little bit loud on the small part that runs parallel to the highway.

Wonderful spot to get some exercise. Take your pet for a stroll around the Back Cove Trail. Provides views of the Portland skyline. Wide trail with watering stations every so often.

Ok. You don't have to run it, but, you can! Very nice hard pack trail good for walking, running, and mountain biking( not paved). Decent scenery, and moderate traffic, and plenty of parking.

The hard-pack gravel trail is about 3.5 miles in total. The view is quite nice. But one should know that it is along the interstate and then a couple of big roads. So it is great for jogging but not exactly an ideal hike.

This is the perfect jogging trail in Portland. Being here for a few days, we tried many places to jogg, and this is the best. It is about 6 km just for the bay, but adding smaller trails, you can to around 14 to 15...More
