We stayed one night here but actually ended up spending all of our time at the public beach (Head Beach). This campground is definitely more of a family place and not so much for a couple like ourselves who want to have a few drinks...More

Visited Hermit Island for a quick camping weekend with family and friends. This is a great campground perfect for kids of all ages. We traveled with 11 children ages 5-11 and they didn't want to leave. Large campground, mostly tents and pop ups with lots...More

Mosquitos rule the campground! Be prepared and you will have a wonderful experience exploring this amazing place. My husband and I loved watching families enjoying their time playing and exploring together. There are a lot of rules, but they really didn't affect us. We loved...More

I have been going here for over 45 years. The beaches are beautiful. But over time, they have put so many restrictions in place that it's hard to actually have fun other then sit and be silent. No radios, no acoustic guitars, we were told...More

Having camped here 30 years ago, it was fun to go back and check it out. It was like going back in time. It's family camping w/o the technology. Just the sounds, views, tastes and smells of old fashioned camping beside an amazing beach/ocean. Unparalleled...More

What a gorgeous place to have a campground. Very rustic and natural. Amazing views everywhere. Can't wait to come back. Wandered around the trails and beaches for hours. Even beautiful on a misty, Irish afternoon. So wonderfully quiet and dark at night! 2 notes: lots...More
