Ogunquit beach is the perfect example of an idyllic New England beach. Just 1 hour north of Boston lies the beach that’s been called the best in Maine and one of the top 25 in the U.S. Three and a half miles of soft, white,...More

The amazing tides here allow people to walk far out on the beach at low tide- be careful of the river coming into the beach! And if they return at high tide the area they walked will be filled with high water and giant waves....More

A prototypical touristy beach area with lots of casual places to eat, sandy beach, and places to sit and watch the waves

Off season in the am at any beach is good! This one is the best! Dogs chasing sandpipers sand below high tide hard enough to walk on a tidal back water. Park benches! Boutique Hotel Restaurant and other shops right there

I went for a walk in the off season with my dog. Signs say no dogs but the visitor center told me that’s only for during season/summer. What a nice quiet walk near sunset. The beach is one of the nicest I’ve ever seen. Really...More

The beach in Ogunquit is absolutely gorgeous. The grounds are impeccable. We did not see one piece of litter anywhere. The beach is perfect for a nice long beach walk alone or with loved ones!!

Ogunquit Beach is such a beautiful beach. It seems to go on forever. Because it's Maine, the water is usually cold, but don't let that stop you from standing, or taking a stroll along the water's edge. Look forward to going back every year.

It made me want to come back and see this in the summer. I bet its a busy place, because It was hopping in the fall, and was stunningly beautiful. A pretty sandy stretch in Maines rocky coast. Beautiful pink skies this fall day.

If you get into the main lot it really depends if you want to sit on the ocean side beach North end or the river side beach south end. We like to park on the ocean side and if possible the first row. I say the first row... More

I only used the restroom at the beach and did not notice any area to shower.
