Busy beach even in the cool days of autumn! Nice sand and filled with walkers, dogs, small tents and chairs, families, etc. Snacks close by.

When the tide is right you can walk for 1/4 mile. It's long and clean and just one of the nicest beaches you'll ever find in the NorthEast.

The first week in October may have been the perfect time to visit! The weather was perfect 78-80 (perhaps a bit warmer than typical?), the parking lot was free, and not too crowded at all. I am certain this must be a very popular beach...More

We were fortunate to have weather in the mid 70's when we visited Ogunquit, so we decided to spend the morning enjoying the beach. There is plenty of room to speard out especially during low tide. It is a great place for families with kids,...More

We traveled from upstate NY to Ogunquit for the Columbus Day weekend. Great time, shops were open and the beach was very available. Nice weather, other then when it rained, for our grandson to play in the sand and surf!

If you are expecting a rocky Maine beach with crashing waves, this is not the place for that experience. If you are looking for a wide, sandy beach with lots of parking (fees apply) this is for you.

Mother nature gave Southern Maine a few warm bonus days for mid October. The Ogunquit beach has some unusual sandbar formations, but the waves are gentle and today it was a playground for children, families, elders, and even dogs. Water was too cold for everyone...More

If you get into the main lot it really depends if you want to sit on the ocean side beach North end or the river side beach south end. We like to park on the ocean side and if possible the first row. I say the first row... More

I only used the restroom at the beach and did not notice any area to shower.
