My husband came to this beach as a child and now we are sharing it with our children. This is a great place for kids to experience the beach for the first time. Lots to see and do.

It was a warm Saturday and it was fun to sit on the beach and people watch. Like every Maine beach, it was too cold for swimming, buyt fund to get one's feet wet.

Great beach! Wonderful for long walks, but be aware of the high tide schedule. Ithe after comes up pretty close, and everyone starts moving their chairs and towels, and it gets quite crowded.

Beautiful clean beach, miles long. Once you leave beach street area there are no services, ie, soda water or food along beach.

This is a small beach that nicely welcomes you at the end of a nice walk. For hard core beach lovers, this may not be for you, but it is definitely family friendly. During our time there it did not have alot of raucous partying,...More

Ogunquit or Footbridge breach is the best in the area. Long white sand beach, you can walk for about 3 miles. I did not go in the water, because I am from Hawaii and the water is too cold for my taste, but in the...More

My wife and I enjoy a nice walk along this beach. It is long, clean, wide, and just a pleasant place to walk. Very relaxing. The waves are not great for body surfing, generally breaking too close to the beach, and I like warmer water,...More

Dogs on the beach are allowed in the off season. I do not know when the off season begins and ends, you could probably call the town or Chamber of commerce
