Established in 1923, the Ogunquit Beach District is maintained as a public park. It encompasses Ogunquit Beach & Perkins Cove. I didn’t rent a car, as my Resort Concierge offered 4 days of Free Tours to the major attractions in neighboring towns. I walked 1/2...More

Over 2 miles of broad, sand beach to walk or play on. Great for power walking, couples walk, or just strolling to peaceful sounds of the surf.

Walking is the way to get around since parking is scarce. Restaurants are plentiful as are shops and places to stay. The beach is wide and long. Perfect for long walks. Or walk on the Marginal way at high tide. Beautiful.

Lovely beach, but very crowded. We thought we were in the "off" season, but gathered that perhaps the hundreds of kids there forgot to go back to school.

Not having the kind of money required to own one of these lovely beachside residences, we love to walk around in the area and enjoy them. Some of them are so huge, and are just used in the summer! Some houses can be viewed from...More
