The garden was filled with beautiful flowers. Many different colors with bees and butterflies busy traveling from blossom to blossom. Lilies, dahlias, cosmos and foxgloves and more. The scents in the air blended together to create the best perfume not created by man. Also toured...More

In the past, I have enjoyed walking the rather steep steps up to the gardens, but this time drove up the narrow road to park up near the actual border gardens. The gardens are casual, well tended and full of color and varieties. This is...More

Located in the Northeast Harbor area, this garden is a little tricky to find but worth the effort. There are 2 ways to enjoy it: walk up the trellised pathway from street level or drive the narrow winding road to the top. We chose the...More

You can access the garden either by driving your car or by parking below and climbing the 200 plus steps that wind up through trees on the side of the hill. It's a beautiful trail with great stops for photo ops along the way. It's...More

An absolutely perfect setting. Manicured beds and quiet to enjoy. Just shows what good deeds by the ultra rich can provide. A $5 donation is asked. Parking free. The Lodge is open and shows life a 100 or so years ago

We stayed at northeast harbor for a night during our visit and took the sea princess tour at 1.15pm. We wanted to look at something in the northeast harbor that would fit in time wise between 10.30am and 1pm ( arrive at the harbor) giving...More

It's a long climb up to the top from the parking area on Highway 3, but the views of the harbor below are impressive. The garden itself was much smaller than expected.
