The beach was empty during the first few days of June but turned out to be a lovely walk. On a sunny warm day I'm sure it gets quite crowded.

Since parking is restricted by permit only we were given a permit by Teri our proprietor at 1802 House. We drove over & parked in the designated by permit only section. I might add that there are parking ticket meters where you can obtain a...More

The ocean breeze, the sandy (very cold) beach and quaint and fun shops are just a few things to see.

A great place for a walk or to park yourself in a beach chair! Very clean! Benches and garbage cans are located off the beach on the side walk for ease of use. Requires a parking pass during the busy season. Most hotels offer these...More

Gorgeous beach, great surf, easy parking is fall and spring. Busy in summer. A lovely place to walk on the beach. Family friendly

Free parking before June 15. Plenty of spaces on a drizzling memorial day. Many locals came here with their car windows winded down and read the papers. It was very calm and peaceful.

Beautiful sand, family friendly, but no tourist services. Just the way I like it. Park along the boulevard. Surf is good. water is of course cold in May.

Visiting this place in April might be chilly experience but definitely worth seeing. No matter what time and weather, it is really pretty and having a walk alongside it a must in this area.

When I first visited Kennebunk Beach years ago, I fell in love with it. It's not the largest Beach I have ever visited but there is something very attractive about its quaintness and ambiance. I love sitting and watching the Tide and even the boats...More

Would like to rent on the beach for the first time! Reasonable price and dog friendly. Never rented before. Is there any places on the beach with good pic's to see. We walked the beach, Kennebunk, last time we were there and loved it. Saw all the beautiful houses. Is there any places on the beach and dog friendly? Anyone that has been please let me know and with pictures. Sleep 4 or 6 at least..........Rose

I don't think there are very many dog friendly beaches in season. Maine is our go to place off season because it does get very busy in the summer. I do know many people who rent homes through VRBO and have had great... More
