I went on the hike next to Moosehead Lake in this park and LOVED it... besides being well-marked the trail is just out and back partly along the lake so no worries... One mistake I made was thinking that the 2.2 miles length was round...More

Stopped for a picnic and a swim. Clean park with swimming, great views in a peaceful setting. The ranger at the gatehouse gave us a great tip: a single picnic table on the point by the boat dock. It was a PERFECT spot for our...More

This park was beautiful, clean and so well taken care of. Can't wait to go back. We were there to visit the swimming area and you can't get a more picturesque spot to take a cool swim.

We enjoyed our trip to Lily Bay very much. We hiked the trails through the park and stood on the shore of the lake listening to the lap of the waves on the shore. We don't camp but the campsites looked nice.

We spent two days in May 2018 walking the trail in the park from the two campsite areas. It is about 2.5 miles in each direction, and hence it was a five mile walk. The trail is maintained to perfection. There are few people on...More

We visited only during day hikes. The campsites looked close together to me, and it seemed there were vans. As this is a Maine State Park I think all charges should be on their website. Sorry for limited info. Very... More
