This is a very large, lovely lake surrounded by mountains. There are plenty of things to do and see. Fishing seems good. Because it is so big, the lake is often windy.

A must see for everyone. Beautiful, serene, magical lake to be on but do so with a guide. See moose, deer, beavers, loons. Very peaceful.

We LOVE the water and i am an avid angler. So visiting Moosehead Lake in the Greenville area was a must stop. Beautiful nature, excellent for a family stop while visiting the area. We brought a little picnic lunch and enjoyed.

We stayed in Greenville Maine which offers some nice restaurants and shopping. We took a three hour tour around the lake which was very informative. People in Greenville were very nice and helpful.
