We used the town beach. It is clean, uncrowded, friendly, and comfortable. Bring a beach chair so you can sit on it in the very clear water and enjoy the view.

First off, don't go to Kezar if you are looking for a vacation spot with bells and whistles. It is a haul to a supermarket, and we barely had cell service where we were staying. For trying to unplug and get away to a simple life, it was perfect!

Beautiful lake! If you are not a Maine resident and planning to boat be sure you purchase a Maine visitor boating pass. We purchased ours just up the road at the Lovell town office. They will fine heavily if you don't have one. Launched our boat from the public boat dock just up from the marina. There is also a... More

Kezar Lake is a gem of a place - and hidden crown jewel of crystal clear water surrounded by trees, mountains, and mostly hidden houses. Waterskiing, fishing, canoeing, kayaking, swimming, tubing and more one can do around this lovely lake.... Over the course of my life I've had so many refreshing and exhilarating times here. Very, very special place.....

Quisisana or "Quisi" is the best resort for couples, families and multi-generational groups. Your day is focused on the beautiful lake, tennis, boating, reading, napping and of course eating three amazing meals. Your evening starts with the best-stocked game closet in Maine and ends with the staff performing opera, broadway tunes and fun cabaret. I promise you that if you... More

We took a day trip from North Conway, NH to visit friends who have a house on the lake. Beautiful lake with plenty of activities but the surrounding scenery is fantastic. I don't know what public amenities there are but we had a great day!

This is a beautiful lake with nice cool water. We rented a boat at the marina because two of us are experienced boaters and spent the day exploring the lake, swimming in the fresh clean water, and taking turns on the tube. The owner of the marina is a veteran who gave us a nice discount because my son is... More

We travelled from Ireland on a tour of some of the East Coast cities. Part of that trip included a week long stay on Kezar lake. I'll admit my reason for even knowing about this part of Maine is down to my interest (I'm his number one fan hehe) in the writer Stephen King. After finishing the Dark Tower series... More

Kezar Lake is a best-kept secret…beautiful, serene, packed with activity and fun! Wonderful for water sports; appropriate for all ages. A bonus was staying just feet from the waterfront in the condo at Severance Lodge. What a treat to wake up to the spectacular lake and mountain view.
