Karen Francoeur did a wonderful job in planning and leading a 7 day trip for a group of eight of us. We started in Machiasport and ended in Castine, did about 80 miles total. We were going to camp for a few days, but with...More

We had a fantastic kayak tour from Karen. She was so very patient with us and a wonderful instructor as we are not expert kayakers. Great day! Thank you Karen!

Karen was a great leader on our bioluminescence night paddle. This trip was even better than we anticipated. The night sky and stars were amazing-but the bioluminescence stole the show. A must do if you are in the area!

This turned out to be a really peak experience. The bioluminescence under the Milky Way is not to be missed. I am giving it only 4 out of 5 because the owner/leader has a somewhat 'pointy' personality, e.g. I felt criticized for not doing a...More

... actually I can't think of anything that tops this. We spent an amazing 3-4 hours on Penobscot Bay in the magical darkness. I don't know how I've lived this long and never heard of Luminescence. Karen, our guide, was professional, knowledgeable, enthusiastic and just...More

Can you have 2 people in a Kayak? I'm not sure I will be very good at it.

I believe they have tandem kayaks available. Call first! They are also very patient, move at the pace of the slowest paddler, and offer a great 'how to get going' lesson!
