Walk out to the old Fort Gun Placements, to bad for the graffiti, then come up to the Mansion from the paths in the back. Use your imagination as to what it would have been like to live here in its hay day.

The photos posted regarding this locale are well done. Much of what my wife and I saw when we were there. It is an old mansion that has been so let go that what is left are angles for good pics. It is a small...More

In it's day, this must have been a majestic abode with a breath-taking view of Portland Headlight & the estuary. Today, even though you can see through the {missing} roof and the walls are windowless & 'spacious' - it is still impressive to walk around....More

Lots to see at this one location. The mansion, ocean & lighthouse all in a well maintained park. Perfect for all ages!

Not much to see because of the deterioration. You can't walk into the mansion or around it. Due to it's condition, much was fenced off for safety reasons. The history, however, was worth exploring if you're a history buff like me.

Interesting Mansion, I had so many questions, why has the city left it and not restored it. Huge house from back in time

Although the ruins are interesting there is not much information about them. There is one little plaque. I think that anyone visiting would want to know more about the ruins. Are there any pictures showing how it originally looked? How did it go into such...More

This place impressed my video game loving teen and husband! They said it looked like a building straight out of one of their games. It was cool waking around the mansion, peeking into the windows imagining what it looked like in it's prime. You can't...More
